Proposal Writer – Institutional Marketing

Summary of Responsibilities:
Prepare formal responses to requests for proposals, client and consultant questionnaires. Responses would include information concerning AGI Capital and its investment management capabilities/methods and questions relating to firm wide investment processes, operations, policies and procedures. The position also may require maintenance of and updating of language in the firm’s response database.
There may be some database support and, as necessary, support to other department staff in the creation, updating, and proofreading of marketing/client materials and communications and other job related duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Respond to questionnaires and RFPs within imposed deadlines through the assessment of requirements, utilization and coordination of resources, and task prioritization;
- Work closely with Legal/Compliance, sales and client service representatives, investment teams and other departments to assess the needs and effectively convey the firm’s investment management process and procedures;
- Update and enhance language to reflect changes;
- Compile, disseminate and analyze firm data and information;
- Maintain communication within department as well as with other departments in firm to assure consistency in communication with internal and external clients, consultants and prospects;
- Complete questionnaires and other documents with minimal supervision and assistance;
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in related field;
- Experience with RFPs and client related materials;
- Basic knowledge of investment industry/terminology;
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS-Word & MS-Excel;
- Experience with PMAPS is preferred;
- Outstanding skills in organization, time management, multi-tasking, prioritization, research, and self-motivation. Excellent mathematical & statistical skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and an orientation towards the achievement of team goals. An ability to adapt to a fast paced/changing environment in a calm, focused manner.
